Mshengu Muzi Tshabalala was born on the 24 October 1947 by the late Archbishop Willie Mahlamvulane Tshabalala and The Late Elizabeth Siphiwe Sibiya, the first daughter of The Late Archbishop Kageja Johannes Sibiya and The Late Miriam Majomela Shabangu, founders of Ethopian Holy Baptist Church in Zion Izikhova Ezimnqini.

Grade 6 in music, certificate of voice training with lessons of choir conducting skills, ministers certificate, prison ministry certificate, marriage officer and commissioner of oath certificate, stress, trauma and anxiety coaching certificate, Christian family life certificate, premarital counselling certificate, certificate in ministry, diploma in teaching specializing in mathematics, diploma in leadership, diploma in ministry, higher diploma in ministry and pastoral studies, bachelor of theology and literature degree, doctor of theology degree, doctor of philosophy in leadership, professorship in divinity.
He is married to Mamoruti Florence and was blessed with six kid’s four girls and two boys.
