ABOUT BELIEVERS IN CHRIST
CONQUERORS THROUGH HIMESTABLISHMENT
Believers in Christ was established on the 4th of August 1984 by the Honorable Mshengu Muzi Tshabalala who is the Founder, Archbishop, Visionary, Apostle, Prophet and owner of the ministry. The church is available nationwide within the borders of South Africa and Swaziland, head quartered in Gauteng.
We are a church aiming for excellence in every area of life through the leadership of Archbishop Mshengu Muzi Tshabalala, who preaches salvation first, reconciliation, care for all, promotes cleanliness, good singing, orderly worship and education across board.
As he has great influence to many Zionist choirs to sing in Pitch, Harmony, Blending and Diction, Archbishop Mshengu taught highly educated and middle class members not to be boastful undermining the underprivileged members.
We as Believers In Christ join together as a congregation to do the work that Jesus commissioned the church to do. Matthew 28:19-20 “therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT
THE GOD GIVEN VISION TO OUR FOUNDER PRIMARY FOCUSES IN THREE (3) AREAS STATED BELOW:
- WORD – Win lost souls through the preaching of the Good news to all (sinners, loved, unloved, rejected, hopeless, rich and poor) in particular the Zion community so they may be added to the Church of Jesus Christ that he bought with his own blood. 1 Tim 2:3
- PROPHECY & PRAYER – To discourage prophets who are bringing prophesies which are contrary to the teaching of the Word. Matthew 7:15. Planning prayers which are at a level of holiness and teaching prophets a way of praying, behavior and self – control. Respect to be the most important thing in prayer session 1 Corinthians 9:25 & Acts 17:11
- EDUCATION – To ensure that all the BIC leaders obtain certificates and qualifications (Degrees & Diplomas) in Biblical studies so they can understand what they are teaching first. To improve the reading and teaching of the Bible at all times, and encourage all members to carry Bibles when they come to services. To teach all Zion members to have the time and patience to listen to the voice of the Lord Jesus.
OUR FAITH (DOCTRINE)
ALL MEMBERS OF B.I.C. ARE OBLIGED TO BELIEVE ON THE FOLLOWING POINTS:
- The salvation of sins through faith in Jesus Christ and believing that Jesus was sent by God and His blood has the power to cleanse all the sins of the world
- Reconciliation and forgiveness
- The ministry of unity as revealed by Jesus Christ
- Knowing that no one is to be served but God alone who is above everything and nothing is above him
- In baptism of water, Holy Spirit and fire
- Trust, obedience, self – control, submission, caring, respect, giving, compassion, patience, integrity, prophesy, Holy Spirit, holiness, glory, Grace, love, prayer sessions, healing, service of laying hands, worship, thanksgiving and praising God with all your mind, soul and heart.
